Another project for European leader of the confectionery market. This time the company needs to label boxes with pralines
Mission
The aim was to apply additional labels onto boxes with pralines: top and bottom labelling. The products are very fragile so labels should be applied with high precision and without any faults. The machine is installed on the production line so it is required that the labelling process does not slow down or stop the line. Moreover, a label presence check was requested.
Vision
To satisfy client requirements the following components were used: two pairs of INTREX 200+ active labelling heads in a non-stop system, box conveying system with side belts with overlays to hold the products tights during labelling without any damage. Label presence check is performed using presence sensor and reject station with a chute. All controlled by a B&R Automation controller. The labeller can also send and receive digital signals from other machines of the production line.
