Direct printing on cartons is nowadays playing an increasingly important role, replacing the conventional method of labeling collective or unit packaging. Cardboard packaging can be found in every industry, from food through pharmaceuticals and cosmetics to electronics, automotive, and construction. The main advantage of a carton printer comes from eliminating the need to store stocks and waste from pre-printed packaging and labels.

The Domino Cx350i carton printer, for which Intrex is the sole distributor and authorized service provider in Poland, stands out primarily thanks to its use of high-contrast, vegetable oil-based ink, which allows the carton to be recycled and the pulp reused. In addition, some EU countries are beginning to introduce bans on importing packaging marked with mineral-based ink. Printing on cartons can easily be redesigned at any time thanks to the 10.4″ touch screen. The Domino Cx350i is available in two ink base versions, where printing on cartons can be performed with either two or four printheads, allowing for taller labels or marking in several independent locations.
