The vaccine, developed by the University of Oxford and the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca, is already being distributed on a large scale across Europe.
Becton Dickinson, as one of the largest manufacturers of medical products, was selected by the UK government as a supplier of special Flu+ syringes, used to administer the vaccine to patients.
