The aim of the project was to replace a shrink-sleeve label with four self-adhesive labels applied onto a tissue box.
Replacing shrink-sleeve label with self-adhesive was a big challenge due to customer’s quality requirements and unique shape of products. The key assumption was not to allow any air bubble labelling defects nor label wrinkles.
“In order to meet these requirements, we used special interchangeable label applicators with pressing rollers. We have also implemented efficient product rotating system using 2 conveyors and a roller that rotate products by 90 degrees”
